Same goes for me, Killer Wolf. :D Downloading now! I won't encounter the Vipers that much, but since I'm piloting a Python, I'll see the new look of it quite often.
Edit: Oh, the Vipers aren't online yet. Okay, I'll have to wait, then...

I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

thanks for updating the wiki JazHaz, um, i think i might have confused everybody - the different types of viper are already available in the standalone viper oxp and also in dizzy's bundle, they've been in there since the oxp came out - we're all just too law abiding (well apart from El Viejo it seems) to have met them in game

Hope no one objects but I added a few images to your page, Griff. Placeholders to let folks see how much is left to go before a complete set is done. If there are more, I'd love to add them.

That's a good idea. Didn't like them at the end of the gallery, so have moved them into where they should sit, as the gallery is sorted alphabetically.

does anyone know what types of code letters the UK navy might use for registering its experimental planes (if it even has such things) i'd like to stick something plausable on my constrictor remake as a jokey bit of fun for aircraft buffs, but please noting too realistic, i don't want to be dragged away for interregation by some MiB's

Looks good! Compares well with Smivs' Constrictor remake, the Contractor.

EDIT: Don't know about the RN code letters, but perhaps you can use the civilian type registration letters, eg G-CONSTR

For what it's worth the Constrictor in my Shipset has an "XP1" logo ( XP = eXperimental Prototype ).

Between the two big wars new aircraft for RAF were apparently commissioned by meeting Air Ministry specifications F-something or P-something, and prototypes were Kxxxx (xxxx being 4-digit number).
(see:

for reference, and

...and keep it under lightspeed!

that 'strictor looks gorgeous!

i think the US us an "X" as in "experimental" and i've also seen the name (eg F-22) prefixed w/ a "Y" during the evaluation stage (YF-22 etc).
if you have the Omega sign you could have the Omega Xperimental Project ;-)

This has always puzzled me, as Omega is the last letter of the Greek alphabet. Surely a prototype should be "Alpha"?

YF or X are traditional for aircraft (not necessarily the RN though)

BTW, I'm liking very much!

Hmm, if it's the last planned prototype before proper construction, omega does kind of fit too! :)

PS: Nice, as always. Plus almost impossible to see even without <spoiler removed>! Ah, those sneaky Navy types! :P
