You are using Oolite 1.65 (or, possible but unlikely, 1.67). Most recent OXPs require a recent test release.

Ahruman's supplied the answer to your questions but allow me to welcome you to the "Friendliest Board this side of Riedquat."

Well, most of the time, unless politics rears its ugly head over in Outworld.

Welcome, Phantom! :D

The repositories are waiting on the next 'stable' release, which is (hopefully) not too far off now.. 1.74 is not far from done, and 1.75 is planned to be the next stable release.. so, who knows? Maybe by the end of the year...

I don't know.. everyone has been most polite and restrained in the discussion to which you refer.. I'm involved in a forum where the "discussion" on that same topic is MUCH more heated..
Most games have some sort of paddling-pool-and-water-wings beginning to ease you in: Oolite takes the rather more Darwinian approach of heaving you straight into the ocean, often with a brick or two in your pockets for luck. ~ Disembodied
