Hi Commanders,
Was wondering if anyone has an idiots guide on how to reset the Assassin oxp to begining.
I started it early 09 but driffted off and removed the oxp from 'Addon' folder.
Been playing around each G from then, slower.
Now wish to go back to G7 to start the assassin oxp again.
I know in the save file it remembers where I was. But don't remember how I got there.
It was getting a bit too hard with a less than a 'Hard ass' ship.
This time round, think I may be ready?? Flying Caddy with bells and whistles. But would really like to start from scratch.

Exactly the same thing as if you just left the OXP there.Zbond-Zbond wrote:..what would happen if I deleted the OXP and re-downloaded it, then went to G7 (as the same commander)(i.e. the commander that has already completed the missions)?

Because the commander's variables for the mission are stored in the commander save file. The OXP will normally check/update those at launch or load (depending on the OXP and circumstances)
Thus if you reinstall the OXP, it will still get the same values again when you reload the commander. As Commander McLane says, if you want to reset the OXP (or any other mission, including the built in ones) you should delete the variables in your save file, or paste over the values from a newbie save.
