The bible says to turn the other cheek, but at times, there is nothing quite as satisfying as a good-ol sucker punch

I used the fix suggested and now I can't ever imagine going back to 1.72.2. OUT! OUT! You demons of uglyblockidity!

I WAS going to mention my turreted manoeuvres, but decided that such a discussion wouldn't be fair considering that turrets are expensive kits and fairly pointless to talk about in the early game O_o Well, I'm 20, and not what one would say old-fashioned (I never listen to any music earlier than the...

I've always used a combination of sniping and tailing their sixes. :D I got used the the pixel-ships after a few days and could spot em even if they were a speck in the inky night that is space. I then line them up and smack them good with bursts from my mil laser. Naturally they close in and what I...

I had your problem till I decided:

Screw roll, yaw thrusters all the way!

Now I play with only dive/climb and yaw. No roll. I find it much easier to take on and run from pirates that way.

I dont think we need to worry that the (mythical) mmoolite is going to be overrun with 12 year olds. It takes quite some time and to build up the money for a decent ship, so as long as we dont make it easy to zerg rush with cobras at Lave it should be ok. Anyone who wants to build up a powerful com...

I get a crash to desktop when attempting to run OSE with trunk OR 1.72.2. The game never loads. I dont embrace the idea that mmorpg's have to be about "pwnage" or 12 year old kiddies on power trips. Amen to that! :D I'm a forum moderator on a WoW server. (Nothing in-game) I joined when it was still small and tightly-knit. Yes we had a few bragfests and all but it was all in good fun...

Radeon bug with ugly squares

Will it be fixed / is it planned to be fixed in 1.73? The ugly squares on my stupid Radeon card are ugly as hell. :(

Maybe having Jame along wasn't so bad after all, Jero reflected as the escape pod engaged its thrusters and sped towards the Coriolis station. I'll remember you, and I'll be waiting for you to make a mistake. And when you do... Nobody makes me fail and get away with it. No one. --- "This is th...

I was just thinking that it could be really nice eye candy :P There are some star systems in real life that are black-hole star binaries. I wonder how far Oolite's sun graphics will have to go before we could depict something like this: http://api.ning.com/files/2f1ElJpOpn5GOV2Mwvv2ZuOhfI5m1s7a6IXXc...
