Great News! Thanks A_C :D @Thargoid, Thanks again, I'll bookmark it. @Kaks, All the races look as good but I haven't got an image for the Birds yet. Unfortunately the frog in a space suit is copyrighted material and is concept art for the game Distant Worlds. Have a look here if you're interested, j...

Can't help with a fix, but your frog doesn't look very blue (or does the description refer to their state-of-mind and general outlook on life?) Said frog doesn't look very cheerful. Maybe that's where the "blue" comes from. And he's donning a rather primitive dress. I would think t...

@Thargoid, thanks for the info. I did try guiScreenWillChange(), now I know why it didn't work.

http://www.msdownload.co.uk/Oolite/onrira.png I'm using the code below to produce the system data screen like the one above whenever a different system is selected in the long or short range charts. The only problem is the planet texture doesn't refresh until I reselect the system data screen again...

Here's a 64 x 64 image, I might be able to get it down to 48 x 48 but that would probably be the limit. Oh well, worth a try.

Thanks PAGroove. Yes I will make version 1.3 of System Redux compatible with version 2.5 of Famous Planets using the global variable method Eric has mentioned. I would want to have a standalone version but have no problems with combining SR1.3 with FP2.5, but it would be a very large download.

Thanks for the encouragement guys.

@El Viejo, I will probably settle for 128 home planets, 32 moons and 32 additional planets. Then again I might get bored and only do 64!

Unfortunately there’s no magic technique, just lots of cutting, pasting and flood filling. It's going to be a long time before I get anywhere near the 256 seperate textures I was hoping for.
