Re: Docking Computer
Problem with Docking with Moveable Objects: Deep Space Dredger: c works some of the time - the rest of the time it takes a veritable eternity as it sends your Cobra whizzing off to the far end of the galaxy; C never works SLAPU/ZGF: c works; but C does not Luxury Liners: yet to try c ; but C works ...

Re: Screenshots
Thank you for taking the trouble. I was hoping to come up with a good reason for the anomaly, but it really doesn't look much like a geological fault line, does it?

Re: [Release] Market inquirer
Thanks phkb for providing help with issue iii. I'll update this fix to the oxp the next time I update it. About the other questions i) Possible to some extent for sure. Colors are not possible, but the order could be so that the first column is always the one the player is docked at. Then again, th...

Re: Combat is too hard with a keyboard
Ahaah! But there is an .oxp for that one too! My Sainted Great-Grand Uncle George would have loved Oolite - he was a doctor famous for prescribing pills as the solution for absolutely everything in life & death. In Oolite he could have done the exact same with .oxps! Try either Fuel Collector (l...

Re: Recovering "Lost" OXPs
who wrote Monument? Are you referring to the TOGY Monuments OXP? If so, that one's not lost - it should be available on the download manager. Unless you mean TOGY Memorials - that was was released by smivs. I sent him an updated version while I was doing the re-release of TOGY so he could publish i...

Re: Combat is too hard with a keyboard
I'm looking for a way to eliminate any chance of getting killed. That's why no docking protocol is not an option for me. However, looks like there's no way to do so. Even if you never fight, just run and hide from everyone (which is kind of boring), there's a chance to hit a bunch of Thargoids in t...

Re: Combat is too hard with a keyboard
You've not tried ILS? Ultra-fast docking on the tail of another (read all the accompanying notes) ... and ultra-fast suicide when it all goes pear-shaped!... it's too much waiting, at least until fuel ejectors and docking computers are bought.

Re: Combat is too hard with a keyboard
Coming back to Oolite after a 10 year break, it is right that practice makes perfect. However, although I was an Elite commander starting again as a Jameson with a pulse laser I did have to run from every fight. This is realistic, but it's not how most games work. In RL I do HEMA and I have 10 year...

Re: (WIP) Hermitage
I have modified your "start choices" lightly. Instead of 1,000 credits, I increased it to 1,000,000. Why? Because we're not talking about a Ship, we're talking about a STATION. Because, IMHO, a Station is worth more than a Ship. Welcome to the merry throng! I was not aware that one could ...

v.1.90: How does one reverse the MFD cycling?
How does one do this? I have yet to find an instruction anywhere! Does it involve ancient Chaldaean Imprecations or Human Sacrifice?* Keyboard controls to cycle and select MFDs in reverse.
