Yesterday I installed Ubuntu studio (and already I can't wait to uninstall, and go back to Debian, but that's another story :) ) and for fun I checked out the shipped Oolite (1.77) ... And I just... what? huh? The ole Cobra was tilting and drifting in a most peculiar way... Then it hit me: I was run...

I didn't touch the ' graveyard since ages, so the sorting out was mainly (or completely) by our friend Sel (I think....)

upgrade to 8.1 went w/o a hitch. :mrgreen: (That is to say, computer hung 3 times during reboot attempts, 4th time I succeeded to get it into boot option mode, and stuff just worked.) Still hate it though, how it always pops up stupid stuff if you swerve too much to the boundaries of the trackpad Gr...

I'm so glad I got Win7. I think that Win8 is a joke and a huge backwards step. I'm on Win 7 too - but people tell me that Win 8 boots faster, runs faster, etc. The GUI is the problem, it seems. yea, it does boot impressively fast.
