too late, back to jessie

seemed indeed the joystick setup, but i think it's strange this seems enabled by default....

Yesterday I installed Ubuntu studio (and already I can't wait to uninstall, and go back to Debian, but that's another story :) ) and for fun I checked out the shipped Oolite (1.77) ... And I just... what? huh? The ole Cobra was tilting and drifting in a most peculiar way... Then it hit me: I was run...

Googled Oolite, landed on a site about the Oolite sedimentary rock, picture was like....

I didn't touch the ' graveyard since ages, so the sorting out was mainly (or completely) by our friend Sel (I think....)

upgrade to 8.1 went w/o a hitch. :mrgreen: (That is to say, computer hung 3 times during reboot attempts, 4th time I succeeded to get it into boot option mode, and stuff just worked.) I'm so glad I got Win7. I think that Win8 is a joke and a huge backwards step. I'm on Win 7 too - but people tell me that Win 8 boots faster, runs faster, etc. The GUI is the problem, it seems. yea, it does boot impressively fast. Lots of stuff in the preferences too that make me think 'wow, nice o...

I'm positively scared...

I installed some kind of add-on to have a classic look (semi-classic) and a start button.


...And I'm *Not* going to start tinkering with registries and all that jazz, no sireeeee.

I already know it will be my fault if something goes wrong during updating
