Oolite Bulletins

I've updated the Liberator OXP and placed it on my website. It was has 4 front mounted military lasers and 3 rear mounted turrets so watch out if you attack it.

Currently it's not available as a player ship.

I've got my velocity.oxp installed (and using the ship) on the PC version of 1.69.1 and every time I die and get and i get the press space to continue message on screen after hitting the space bar the games bombs out. I've removed the sub ents from the ship and the crash no longer happens.

Question about multi front lasers. The Liberator has 4 fronted mounted military lasers does this mean they overheat 4 times quicker?

It was all a bit of a rush lastnight to put it together to there's quite a bit of tidying up to do which im in the process of doing.

Heard mention of version 1.69.1 is this version available for the PC if so where do you get it from?

Your right the texture needs some work but to be honest they aren't really my thing.

Cool that sub ent thing works. When im done I 'll stick a copy of the ship on the web. It's kinda based on the Liberator from Blakes 7. Will have 4 front mounted lasers when it completed.

Great I'll try that. As it happens the ship is made up of subs ents so should be easy

Am i right in thinking its possible to equip a ship with more than 1 front laser if so what the syntax needed for the shipdata.plist file? I've had a go but can't get it working

To be honest there's not special about it other than it's really fast and manoeuvrable the whole thing also rotates about the Y axis. If you look at the shipdata.plist you will see what I mean.

Its just an NPC at the moment. It's somewhat bigger than what it should be otherwise it would be too small to see. Let me know if you want the wings model and I put it up on my website. Like I say the texture is a big rubbish but working on it. Err well when I get the time that is...
