Hey JohnSmith. First of all make sure you are running the latest build. This is currently available from ftp://ftp.alioth.net/oolite/oolite-1.65-installer-IRIX6.5.tar.gz . Secondly, I assuming you're using F12 to toggle fullscreen mode? On every version I've used on every platform F12 works to maxim...

Thanks rxke, it's good to be back :D

I have a few more days of unsettledness ahead (Got my motorcycle test) and then I should be back to full tilt. I've certainly missed playing Oolite, let alone fiddling with it

Sorry for the delay.

FreeBSD 6.X and IRIX 6.5 stand alone packages for 1.65 are on ftp.alioth.net. I've had to drop FreeBSD 5.X as I no longer have a 5.X production machine... but it's a legacy release now anyway so I don't feel too bad about it. I've also posted the link on the SGI community forum (at nekochan.net), ho...

Hopefully I'll get a chance to be back on the builds today, and having less GNUstep can only be a good thing :)

Yup, unfortunately the MIPS R4K in the PSP is a 4km I believe. No TLB, No MMU, Sony in their infinite wisdom decided (allegedly) to handle all that fun stuff with a custom chip

This means no 'real' operating system support anytime soon.

Simplest way it is just add network module Damn it, why didn't I think of that before  Seriously, we are working on this! I haven't posted any updates because currently there isn't much to tell. We've seperated out most of what we consider to be the 'server' processes. We're almost finished th...

Celkins, You might want to check with Winston but I think the wiki is the perfect place. http://wiki.alioth.net Now I feel the need to explain my tarball making decision. 1) I know the library compatability is a bitch but the tarball is totally self contained (provided you run the FreeBSD adjusted v...

Celkins, you mean updating the Makefile and Distinfo in the ports tree right? If you can put those changes somewhere where people can easily find them and they are well documented then I'll happilly stop making FreeBSD binaries.

Ok, ok... I'll say this clearly for the people in the cheap seats. The trumbles are dead, they were climately enhanced! They are no more, they are deceased... they are EX-TRUMBLES  I'm just trying to report a bug concerning a save file and the number of trumble entries in it... I still h...

No, that's the error I got before I cut things out (but thanks for assuming I'm a bit special :?). It's working fine now that I have edited the save file. And don't worry I didn't cut them out completely, I just left a 2 in so that I could hear the little fsckers scream

Trumbles eating everything, including my save file

I've just had to cut about 30 <dict> entries for trumbles out of my savefile. Splendid work sir! As for the ending, pure genius... exactly how I imagined a captain on the fringes would act. Such writings makes me ponder when you'll finish Deceit, Harmony and Pleasure

I liked the nod to the mighty D.N.A. (Of course in these enlightened times nobody believes a word of it)
