The crackling is awful and erratic. I have put it down to OXPs or one OXP, but not sure which! Oolite was fine until I started downloading some OPXs Oolite froze for seconds before witchspace until I removed a CobraMK3 OXP and after that it was fine. I still think its fab though! I've had my ass kic...

Thanks for that Kaks.

It was just that I was hoping to boost the vibe; rack up the rush of adrenalin.

After a drowsy dock and flogging off the spoils of shot-up ships, I could do with a whoosh of whitchspace that gets me ready for my next nemesis...!

Never mind...

Witchspace and docking sequence upgrade

Hi all The Witchspace blue tunnel is a bit unreal or lacking or something. Here I go, banging on about the BBC b version again, but hyperspace on the BBC b was a blast! It got your Adrenalin into overload and got you ready for battle! Can anything be done to pep it up a bit? Also, docking sequence.....

Electromagnetic pulse 'bomb'

Hi guys,

How about and electromagnetic pulse type bomb that 'freezes' all ships in the vicinity and renders them useless so you can just shoot em up.
...the effect could be temporary or permanent and the bomb could be expensive or mega expensive!

Cheers!

Hi Darkbee, Hey that's good. Don't get me wrong, I played the Speccy version to death. My mate had the BBC version well before it came out on the Spectrum and that of course was only 32K! He used to shoot up the space stations and then shoot at all the Vipers that came out after him - he was cool! H...

Hi El Viejo, Not half! It's great! As you're a BBC B veteran, what do you think of the sound of the lasers? Do you remember the BBC B rumbling with the sound of the military lasers?!!! Do you remember the 'absolutely no chance' that the other ships had when you fired the military lasers at them? the...

I think it's great!

Hi all I've just downloaded oolite yesterday and after a few initial problems it's fine and works well. Thanks for coding this...it's almost like elite was supposed to be. BBC b elite was great and disc version even better. Spectrum was poor but functional. I have much to add about the weaponry but ...
