I traded my Cobra Mark III in for a DTT Tomahawk. It has a slightly more generous cargo capacity (24t) and has a speed of 355mLS. I'm sorry to tell you I can't remember how much I paid for it though.

So what 3D modelling software is most popular for ship creation?

Having recently bought a new ship without docking computer I have been forced to go back to the old way of docking manually. After contacting the station I was told that I was the four ship in the queue. Then after a couple of minutes I was told that my place in the queue was 11. How does that work?

On the subject of buying new ships, I just traded my Python Clipper for an Ophidian. Damn this ship is so slow.

What I tend to do is... as soon as I get the scoop active message, I slow right down and then gradually turn away from the star until I have my back to it.

Keep a keen eye on your shields.

I think that it is probably best to start with some low-profit, safe contracts rather than the long haul/high risk ones, as the more deadlines that you miss, the more your reputation will drop.

I've finally acquired a Python Clipper and so intend to shift from parcel deliveries to cargo hauls. I still have a few packages to deliver though. I just hope that my shields can hold up to the unfriendly fire.

I've never used any extra fuel. I tend to hop a ride through any worm holes leading me in the right direction and I sometimes do a spot of star-skimming when I feel inclined but I have never felt the urge to increase my fuel storage capacity.

I amended .GNUstepDefaults as advised and it works a treat.
