I have a couple of requests for tweaks ...
1) Stop the navy offering amnesties every ten or so jumps
2) Set the Cargo Spotter so that it's automatically turned on when the ship launches.

As was mentioned earlier, adjust the gamma in the game options. I use a projector system (Oolite in a darkened room on a 124 inch screen is immersive to say the least) but had the same problem of not being able to see ships at range above about 15km. Adjusted the gamma a few hours ago after reading ...

I think we should keep GalCop and the HIMSN seperate...but there's no reason why both couldn't be manipulating each other, both with insiders trying to control the other..? :twisted: Definitely separate - that's where the tension would come from! Firstly, DON'T PANIC! Ignore the Robot Fighters, go for the the mother-ship. Military Lasers are usually sufficient (Pulse Lasers will just get you killed, Beam Lasers are feasible but risky), but try to take them at long range. Make sure you shoot well. Been playing for a few hours with the new line in place.
Griff-Splinters appear as minerals alright, but ore-processor still doesn't seem recognize them. Getting no message at all when triggered as opposed to the normal 'No Splinters' warning.
