Yeah, Vice should do you quite nicely on any PC for normal 8 bit commodore machines.

Ownership is not a prerequisite, mind. Jeff declared all his 8-bit and some 16 bit (I think, please check!) titles freely available some years ago. Everyone feel free to get stuck in.

It would be a huge effort to port, as Oolite is written with 'OpenGL' and XBox uses Microsoft's DirectX, which is roughly equivalent and not very compatible. Then there's the open source community basis of Oolite, which David Breadbin doesn't mind - if there was suddenly money changing hands Oolite ...

An update with that alone would, if it is solid, be a massive bonus.

I wasn't referring to the FF, which I have no intention of using. It does however look like a lot of joystick for the money, anyone looking to get into Oolite without spending fifty quid on a controller could perhaps do worse, given that the majority of PC joysticks are shite and will degrade rapidl...
