Also, what's up with the other escorts? They disappear after the witchspace jump every time, never form up properly, never use injectors so they get left behind. I really like the escort contracts, it's very challenging staying alive against large pirate swarms and yet simultaneously not losing track of the mother ship. Commander McLane is missing a while, so I uploaded an OXZ version from this package into the manager. The fix mentioned above is not needed since the core changed the basic reputations back to integer. Wait -- I hope you don't mean the reputation system is eliminating the (very very much improved) ...

I don't know, I think blazing away in the midst of a furball where you can actually see the ship you're fighting is much more fun compared to running away and sniping at 2 or 3 pixels from 25km. Sniping has its place but it would be nice to have a choice. As it is, even small groups of decent pirate...

cool, thanks for the tip, I'll try to see if I can identify a process that's running....but no other program on the system experiences those pauses like Oolite does, AFAIK. Good to know about the multimon change, thanks!

Running 1.80 on a windows 7 laptop I experience the game freezing up frequently. This seems to mostly happen on GUI screens not while in-flight (perhaps only, I don't recall in-flight freezing ever).
