Re: Frequent crashes with Windows 7
The stderr.txt and Latest.log information after a crash will be needed if we are to do something about it. If you install the game again and it continues to crash, please provide these two files. Also, we are missing video card information, which is certainly helpful to have. OK, I will play a vain...

Frequent crashes with Windows 7
Hi.
My game is crashing quite often. I have Windows 7. I don't have a top computer, but I don't use that many eye-candy OXPs either. Only Deepspace and System Redux. Any ideas?

I absolutely agree, but the standard model only packs a pulse laser. If you can survive with that, you're clearly a better man than me.Commander McLane wrote:However, the Cobra III is not a humble ship by any means. It's by far the best in the original set.

Re: THANKS
This is just to say how grateful I am to anyone who has contributed to this fantastic game. Thank you so much.
I have used this game to show my students what 'free and open source' means. They were very impressed.

Re: Anaconda Blues
Really, to me the restrictions of a game, by not-"cheating" around them add as much (or even more) to the game experience and fun, as the - öhm - other parts of the game. Thank you, I understand that. I really respect the achievements of those who start with a humble ship and start scratc...

Re: Anaconda Blues
Just a minute to tell you that I have put your tips into good use. Yesterday I finally could deliver my first cargo - I was flying a Naga. I was surprised to find myself surviving multiple jumps. Now I realise that I had been flying the Anaconda as if it were a giant fighter. Now the problem ...

Re: Anaconda Blues
The Kirins are a thing of beauty, but the OXP doesn't seem to work on my computer. That problem warrants investigation. Finally the Kirin appeared, but it was of a shiny white colour. It wasn't very pretty. I tried a Josher (not bad, once you get used to the odd appeareance) and right now I'm flyin...
