Re: Translating Oolite (and the OXZs)
Hello Olibrius, I translated a couple of previous versions. I'm glad someone decided to go on. :) Feel free to ask any question. For "Trumble", I used "Groblem" which is as close to "problème" as "Trumble"' is close to "Trouble". As a guideline, I al...

Thanks a lot: it looks great!
In the OXP, there will be two sub-folders to put the scripts... until the next version!
Cheers!

Re: Oolite in French
Hello Commanders! I've found the troublesome sentence! It's in the script oolite-contracts-parcels.js player.ship.addParcel(parcel.sender+"'s "+this._formatPackageName(parcel.description),system.ID,parcel.destination,parcel.deadline,parcel.payment); My issue is: In French, we use the form ...

Re: Oolite in French
Ah ah... Sorry for the shock :) I thought that "f*** up" was a usable idiom as it is non-related to what it means without the "up"... As English is not my language, I never know if I am too formal or not enough. By the way, I had no f***ing time to fix the f***ing sentence which ...

I was happy to find the page and got it updated... But, it shows -if needed- that I'm not in computer science![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

Re: Oolite in French
Greetings Commanders,
Testing the French version is on the way and it looks pretty good.
The planets descriptions are sounding French... most of the time -which is a good result!
I go on testing today and will soon release the new OXP![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
Thanks for your moral and technical support!

Re: Oolite in French
After a lot of tries, I am running out of ideas... Oolite (in French) fails to load the equipment.plist file 15:53:08.307 [plist.parse.failed]: Failed to parse Resources/Config/equipment.plist as a property list. Parse failed at line 1 (char 1) - extra data after parsed string I tried to copy the fi...

Re: Oolite in French
Greetings Commanders, I can play in French :) I still have a point : when starting a New Commander, the default Cobra has no forward weapon. Instead the F5-screen says "(nil)" I probably deleted a character somewhere but I don't know where is this somewhere... Could you tell me where I sho...

Re: Oolite in French
The c&p trick helped a lot :) The log shown two lines I broke during translation: missing "(" and "/" - corrected! Now the restart stops at the last character: "}" By the way, it's blocking 53683 characters away from the previous post! It's a small victory! 17:23:41...
