After starting the religion, why not starting Revolution ?
I recently read something in an online review and decided to investigate. These guys are clever. They made a simulation of civil resistance and there is a scenario builder. Quite nice concept and I am waiting for more complex scenario. http://www.peoplepowergame.com/ In engineering, the validation o...

Re: xckd take on passwords
As a user of a supposed airtight company, I am forced to use a 'airtight' password. What did I do ? I rotate ! The system remembers only the last 3 passwords and ask to change of passwords every 3 months. The rest is easy to guess. I know 2 persons who do the same. That answers to all the security a...

I am totally shocked by Drew's clear attempt to copy a patented technology. I think his next step will be to open iDrewShop and open an iDrewStore with iDrewApps.
This is scandalous.

Re: Wanted - papers on Ray-Tracing

Tell them to download and use Pov Ray ( http://www.povray.org/ ). It's the Rolls Royce of ray tracing. And the introduction to ...

All is there: http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/112055-Exploration-Team-Discovers-Mysterious-Disc-on-Ocean-Floor More seriously, my instinct of geologist tells me this is probably most probably what we call a "roche moutonnee" (sheepback rock) or maybe a dropstone partially buried ...

Re: Wargame discussion
I am playing People Tactics: http://www.advancedtactics.org/ I don't like too much the ideology under the game, the interface is not that good but the management of logistics lines is excellent. There are tons of scenario available also. EDIT: I forgot also the battle for Wesnoth. Not bad at all but...

To enter in details, I was trying to teach her to swim, she panicked as we were going deeper and use her claws (one should say nails for humans but for women ?) to hold to my arm. No sausage involved.

Re: Ferocious Felines
You seem to have forgotten that your cat is not a pet: you are the pet of your cat . The domestication of human beings by cat is an interesting adventure seems to have started with only 5 african wild cats. As said in Wikipedia, Cats have either a mutualistic or commensal relationship with humans . ...
