cheers food for thought, I have injectors and ECM but I'm only up to average, I'm sure Elite missiles were never that good.

I keep getting blow out of space by pesky hardened missiles, usually after blasting the miscreant who launched the thing just before he died. How do I stop the things blowing me apart, obviously ECM doesn't do anything, what should I do?

Just an update no ctd's since installing the new build

I think it's now ok, I installed the version with the fix but now I have played without voice I think it's better anyway. Also graphix are fine again. Thanks for all the help.

I did have spoken message, turned them off and it's much better, discovered a new problem now thou space looks crap with ATI drivers all the distant galaxies look like blury squares. Might load up the old drivers again and see if it works with speech off.
