When enough fuel is not enough fuel...

Post by Cody »

I had 6.8 lights of fuel in the tank, laid-in a jump of 6.8 lights, but even though the line in the fuel bar was green, there was not enough fuel for the jump.
Oolite’s robbing me of fuel… again... see thumbnail:

I had to laugh, though. I presume that's the 'rounding error' again.
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills

Anyway, it's clearly a bug. Where were you at the time? And what was your destination? I think the developers could fix it with this information.

I took that pic last week... and of course, I didn't note the system names.
I'm heading back up that way, though... If I see that planet again, I'll know it.

However, I've just re-created it between Bixein and Lezaer, in Lara'tan (G3).

I too have noticed this now and again. But not all the time.
Find out about the early influences of Fatleaf here. Also his OXP's!

Yep. This should be fixed in r4276.

The minimum fuel used for even a "0-distance" jump is now what... 0.1 LY?

Yes (and this is now accounted for in the fuel bar as well).
