I'm trying to change my cloaking device key from "0" on the top row of numbers on the keyboard to the "0" on the number pad. But I can't work out the key code for it...
I tried working it out from the table linked to from the Oolite Keycode Control wiki page, but couldn't make head nor tail from it. I managed to move it to the "#" key (somewhat accidentally), which is okay, but not what I would like.
Interestingly, the number pad keys do actually do something - 8 pitches up, 2 down, 4 and 6 roll, and 1 and 3 yaw. I've never seen this documented anywhere...

Re: Want to change cloaking device key...
On my laptop's numeric keypad (a proper one it's a BIG laptop) 8 is also up arrow, 2 is down arrow, etc... if I don't have the Num Lock turned on, so the functionality is simply a replication of the the cursor key functionality.Mauiby de Fug wrote:I'm trying to change my cloaking device key from "0" on the top row of numbers on the keyboard to the "0" on the number pad. I also use a laptop. Indeed the arrow keys are replicated, but for yaw "1" is "END" and "3" is "PGDN", which is not a replication of the usual keys.
Also, they do this whether I have number lock turned on or not!

AFAIK not all keys of the number pad are mappable for Oolite. I don't remember, though, to which group the '0' belongs.
