Another Elite Ship Fan re-design: Eagle MkIV Fighter.
This is a rough for a new version of the Eagle fighter series. It has all the elements of the Eagles. Its actually based on an old design of mine for a new version of the infamous Romulan Warbird.
Watcha think?

Quite reminiscent of the original Caduceus, with some of my Raptor in it as well...

Yeah but with a s**t load more polys in it. you could fake some of the detailing, the inlays on the wings for instance, but it's going to require a level of curve modelling that we don't tend to see round here much.
How about a side view? That way you can map the images to 2 flat planes and start building it.

I like this ship a lot - I imagine this is what we've have if Oolite had the equivalent to the Star Trek "Mirror, Mirror", "In a mirror, darkly" alternate ooniverse.JazHaz wrote:RustiSwordz, you should use the image embedding tags to show the image on the forum.

Is this image yours ClymAngus? If so, can I steal it for one of my modelling lectures?ClymAngus wrote:Thargoid wrote:Quite reminiscent of the original Caduceus, with some of my Raptor in it as well...

EDIT: Scratch that - I've just noticed the name of the jpg - therefore presume that it's not yours to give away.

As ive said guys this is just a rough, hop[efully i want to start on a 3/4 view soon. I'm not a 3d man im more trained in storyboarding and concept art. I do the designs and habd it over to the 3d chaps to interpret my work.
