This OXP is now outdated, please see the newer OXP located here:

______________________________
Figured since we already have an Imperial Courier OXP out there, why not an Imperial Trader OXP too.
Based on the Imperial Courier OXP. And the Imperial Trader from Frontier of course.
Will be a part of the Bulk Haulers OXP.
Here's a pic: (its a bit outdated, the weird shininess is gone)
The engine bits spin like the couriers do, doesn't use shaders (but has an illumination map) There is also an expensive player version.
Enjoy

Going to download it just to see how your illumination map is laid out (as my Tycho 8 has an emission map now as the illumination map didn't work (as intended).)
Nice work btw.

Very nice addition ship-wise ... and I actually would have liked the weird shininess

it's still shiny, just removed the zig-zagging light on the engines.

Have just grabbed that, finally got box.net working!
The Imp Trader was the ship I flew in Frontier.
One question though, thought that the reason we didn't have the Trader was that it was too big to dock?

Cheers,

Maybe you could start a Kickstarter Campaign to found your £4500 pledge.
Thanks to Gimi, I got an eBook in my inbox tonight (31st May 2014 - Release of Elite Reclamation)!

It just barely fits, a very tight squeeze.
<EDIT>
Oh crap, just realised the subentities make it not fit, will update in a min.

UPDATE:
Smoothed out the subentities to make them more sleek, now it can dock
Still a very tight squeeze though.

)

Since there's a discussion about ship stats going on in another thread, made me think about this ships stats, I'd really like to get player feedback on them, as they are mostly just copied from the Imperial Trader with some minor upgrades (since the trader is basically a later model of the courier)
energy_recharge_rate 4.5
max_cargo 125
max_energy 600
max_flight_pitch 1.5
max_flight_roll 2
max_flight_speed 370
max_missiles 4
thrust 25
