problems with the latest revision

today i updated again, and now i have a problem: everything is black. stations, ships, cargo containers, everything. impossible to see in front of the black background.

no, i did not change my settings.
MacBook pro, OSX 10.8.5, Xcode 5

Maybe Oolite did change it for you. See the progress topic.

Paying attention to the progress thread is strongly recommended if you’re using nightlies or custom builds, by the way.

*looks forward to OpenGL vendor and renderer report as per the linked post*

yes, it was set to full shader mode. i set it back to simple, and now it seems to work the way i want.

Should the Progress thread be a sticky - it can actually end up quite far down the list of most recently posted to threads on any given day...

Sticky is probably a very good idea. Also suggest that it is moved to Testing and bug reports, as there are a lot of discussion about errors and problems in the progress thread.
