update, due to a newly discovered and changed behaviour in ATI display drivers that will prevent ID from showing and Textures from being showed correctly..
other than that, same Requirements apply

Shaders on Full
Version 0.12 : forgot to update the player fragment, and Scaleble Fragment file...

what we need next is an "oolite registrations" type thing where you can buy personalised reg's for ridiculously stupid amounts like you see in the Times motoring magazines!
A55K1CK3R, anyone?

not sure how it should be working:
The only way it could be nearly possible now, was to detect the purchase of some sort of Equipment.. call it a Personal Transponder ID...
Then ask the player whether it should be a number or letter, and then ask him if the first should be what letter, (and do this 5 times)...
finally we store it all into a mission string, so we can save it..
now comes the tricky question...
How to relay this information to the shader.. ?
Ahruman any brilliant ideas ?

Don't think it can be done - I asked Griff a similar question sometime ago - I wanted to do "Natioonal Oxpress" flights and have the decal be generated and displayed based on the system the ship was in - Griff had a look for me but shook his head with disappointment after a little while.

I was going through the
OXP List and putting Y's into the working boxes of oxp's I have tested and saw that this was blank. Does it work with 1.76? If so I could Y the box?
