Thumping lasers of the Amiga version

I've been looking for an OXP that added some of the Amiga version flavour. More specifically, the military lasers which as I remember came out as a fast stream of laser pulses that made that sweet thumping sound on impact. Here is an example (this is the simple pulse laser):

Also the jump-drive sound just after that and the crunch as you get taken out would be great. And the sound as you go through hyperspace. I tried the amiga sound set oxp but it doesn't seem those sounds have been implemented yet.

I like many things in this version. This brings me to the question if it is possible to tie the corona colors of the starts to the short range map. Because I like the colored dots in the short range map.

I also like the launch sequence, the market and the torus-drive sound.

The launch sequence can be faked, (except for doors) with some really long tunnels before docking bays, but would need to make corialis/dodo/ico stations alot bigger to do so (they're too small anyway IMO)

Ahruman has said elsewhere that post-MNSR he's got plans for the laser animation...

I still love the HUD of the Amiga version, although I'd forgotten it ate up so much of the screen.

Colour schemes for the ships were ace as well. 8)

Yeah like on the GRS stations, from the Buoy Repair OXP.

I really like that sequence! Think that the bit you fly through (that says something like "slow down") could be changed to fake a view down the corridor...?

BuoyRepair has some eastereggs to be explored, so if you try it really hard, who knows?
