Permission to dock

Post by JazHaz »

Getting back on topic, today I started a new Jameson save. Arrived at Zaonce on my first run, and asked permission to dock with shift-L keys.

Got a mesage saying i was 5th in the queue. Watched a few ships dock but forgot to count them. I wanted to know where I was in the queue. So I pressed shift-L again. Got told that my permission was cancelled. Did it again, and now was told that I was 7th in the queue!! Grrrr!

What I think should happen, is that when other ships have docked you should get a new message from traffic control updating your queue status so that you know whether its worth waiting or to go somewhere else!

Any chance?

Cheers,
Drew.
Maybe you could start a Kickstarter Campaign to found your £4500 pledge. 8)
Thanks to Gimi, I got an eBook in my inbox tonight (31st May 2014 - Release of Elite Reclamation)!

There could even by a little jingle playing, and a repeated voice saying

"Thank you for waiting. Your docking is important to us. You are currently number

four

in the queue."

Please avoid cross posting the same things on different topics, it can be confusing and makes following discussions difficult. I split the related posts from the Docking System topic to their own thread.

I thinks yes, as it already works that way in trunk.
