Two of my best friends in the whole world have applied for NZ citizenship - they've had enough. Two others left for Australia last year.
I think if it wasn't for the kids being settled at school NZ would be on my list of places to head for - I know that NZ is effectively a one way trip and that the grass is always greener, but...

I know a friend who is going to England on a tourist visa and if she wanted to stay past that, she only needed to stay a night in France and then come back and get could get a whole new tourist visa. I don't know if that's the case, but it seems that UK rules are sometimes as arbitrary as US rules
