It works okay here, JH... a virgin Jameson at Lave appears in a nice Cobra III. I am a little puzzled by the shipyard.plist reference though.
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

is it the bug where i accedentally renamed the player cobra 3 to "old-cobra3-player" - it might be worth grabbing the Griff Replacement oxp again as it was broken for a while a few weeks ago, the version up for download now is ok (you don't need to get the resources oxp again)

Thanks guys , i think i will weed these ships out of the bundle and have them just as optional addins, i'll see if i can do a better fer-de-lance first though as i'm not too keen on both attempts i've had at it so far :D I'm thinking of looking at posh speedboats as a reference, it seems to be shaped along those lines, a luxury yacht or something

Stick a great big ram on its bow - it's what the Ferdie seems to like doing most - ramming other ships!

Not sure, I only downloaded it yesterday when I updated, but sounds possible. I will re-download it again.

Ah, think I know why. I've been using the "default_Jameson_ship_is_griff_cobra3.oxp". Probably that OXP links to a renamed ship in the Replacement OXP. I'll remove it and see if that sorts the problem.

EDIT: yes that fixed it.

You'll need the obligatory girls sunbathing then.

 Would be great to have an oxp that added a waterskiing astronaught subentity being towed along behind random ships, prehaps the sun skimming ones

Once Cim finishes his ongoing work on visual effects - if you model one I'll write the OXP for you ;)

Brilliant! I mean... if you actually had a ship, and could rig that up, you'd just have to be doing it!

I don't think he should. The Fer de Lance is NOT a one man fighter. More a luxury ship for a rich bounty hunter.

Yes I could have worded that better, couldn't I? ;)

Once Cim finishes his ongoing work on visual effects - if you model create and texture the relevant entity, I'll write the OXP for you ;)
