Radar improvenment: thicker lines needed?

Post by mkIII »

I find it hard to tell sometimes if objects are in front of me or above/below me. Compared to the amiga version, the lines drawn to the object are thinnner and thus harder to see.

I suggest to make them broader, halve as broad as the object indicator itself.

In my experience, it's only hard to tell where an object is when it's very close to you. I'd like to see a different set of zoom levels. 2:1 and 5:1 are useful for most purposes, but when you need to find an object you're right on top of, a zoom 10:1 would be more useful, perhaps even 20:1.

nah, what you want is a log scale, so things close are highly zoomed, and thing distant are um, whatever the reverse of zoomed is.
