Problems posting?

Post by Selezen »

On occasion, when I try to post a reply on the forum, clicking the submit button takes me to the preview page. This can happen anything from once to dozens of times whilst attempting to post the same message.

For example, it has just taken me about ten minutes to post a message on the Suggestion Box forum. Only after leaving it alone for a few minutes then clicking submit again did it work...

Anyone else seeing this?

I have often found that going to the end of the message, inserting a newline and clicking on Submit fixes this. Not always, though.

I’ve had this from time to time, but found that it works if I wait a minute or so. I’ve assumed it’s a throttling thing.

I don't think it's a throttling thing from phpbb's perspective, as the flood control usually throws up a warning message telling you that you have to wait 'n' minutes between posts.

In case it's relevant, I use IE7 on Windows XP.

After a Preview, earlier today, i could´nt post what i had written(waited a few minutes, but it would not let me post).

I had to copy paste, and then make a new reply, and just press submit,

Could it be, and this is a longshot... that the submit and preview commands(buttons) sometimes gets mixed up. in my case both buttons directed me to Preview...

I've had no problems whatsoever - but, then again, I post way less than some of you guys... :)
