I want to skin a few of the OXp's to my own flavour, any tips on ship skinning. I found the textures i assume you just export to a PS type program and off you go?

That's about it - if you resave the png file with the same name it will get picked up by the game. The actual texture file names are specified in the the ship's individual model data (the various *.dat files) in the Models folders. Just make sure to temporarily rename the existing textures or move them somewhere safe if you don't want to lose them.
