Hi new to the forum, just want to say a huge thank you to the developers of Oolite, and all those who have made great mods.
I played the original back in 1983 and loved it, but none of the remakes, Frontier and so on had the same feel. Eve online just did not capture the heart, and X2 and X3 just didnt grab me. Freelancer came closest but again, I lost interest.
Oolite keeps everything that made Elite great, and adds to it without killing the soul of the game. And I love it, though it would be great to build mouse control in. My 36 year old fingers dont work the same as when I was a nipper and I am getting cramp!
A true work of art, and I just spent a very enjoyable weekend feelings like a 12 year old again with this wonderful game.
Excuse me, I have some furs to deliver, I need those military lasers installed asap!
Thanks

Hi McDeath
Welcome to the Oolite BB.
I think that the game has mouse control - I don't quite know how it works except that you have to be in full screen mode.

Hi, McDeath, and welcome to the boards and of course to this great game!
I think if you perform a search for "mouse" here on the boards you will find a lot of information on how to use them.
For a start: M (=SHIFT-M) is the key that toggles your mouse control (may work only in full-screen mode).
Although I myself prefer the keyboard-controls (and have done so ever since 1984).
