Fuel Leak.
I was attacked by a Mamba last night.
I managed to kill the bas#*rd but about 3-4 mins after the battle a message popped up on screen telling me I had a feul leak and I watched as my fuel guage droped to nothing.
Are there any other small surprizes I should know about.
Cool little addition to the game though lol.

Yes those thiny holes you often not see them at once but at the end all your full is spilled. It sometime helps if you maintain your ship properly.elite wrote:about 3-4 mins after the battle a message popped up on screen telling me I had a feul leak and I watched as my fuel guage droped to nothing.

Yes I have that OXP installed already and I have seen the odd fuel cargo tank too.Commander McLane wrote:If you install Cargo_Wrecks_teaser.oxp you will get the occasional fueltank like a cargopod. Just scoop. Be warned, however, that some of these fueltanks will cause a fuel leak instead of filling your tank!
Never knew that one could cause a fuel leak though.
Thanks.

But do, please, remember that even if it flashes red, shooting (or, Giles help you, ramming) it will still result in an almighty explosion.....Commander McLane wrote:Have a look at their flashers. The "good" ones are green, the "bad" ones red.

They are tiny though, hard to hit unless they are almost touching the barrel of your millaser.
Wouldn't it be fun if you could load up your cargobay with these puppies and jettison them at a station Thargoid while using the FuelInjectors!
There is an explanation in the teaser-readme about green and red flashing fuelpods.
My intention at first was to have bad ones ejected automatically and start a countdown before going q-bomb on you, but that didn't work properly and the Qbomb effect was a bit too deadly. So we opted for a nice and soft fuel leak instead. You should know better than to install spaceflotsam into your vessel without the proper licences and training (let alone bribes to the govenrment/ the Quirrium Cartel!).
