I've completed the repairs I could manage and tomorrow afternoon I'll go out to sea for testing before taking on another Atlantic crossing.
If I survive, I should be back in touch in up to a week...

You know those who, having been mugged and stabbed, fired, dog run over, house burned down, wife eloped with best friend, daughters becoming prostitutes and their countries invaded - still say that "all is well"?
I'm obviously not one of them.

Well, folks, I'm off in an hour or so.
As I said, If I survive I'll say something next week.
Thanks! That would be a good advice if I were off Honduras or Nicaragua. Unfortunately, in this area (Colombia and Venezuela) the pirates aren't your common machete swinging poor-fisherman-gone-desperate, but drug cartels after boats to do their runs, so they come out with powerboats and assault rifles. Who gets caught dies. Period.Uncle Reno wrote:Good luck Cmdr, hope it goes well. Keep your blade sharp!
