Audio crackle

Post by Pseudoscot »

Awesome game. I've just regressed to a state of childhood and BBC model B's.

I've had a couple of issues with some oxp's but overall it's working well.

One very annoying problem I get is an ongoing crackle/interference which is significantly worse during music. The audio files play fine in other applications. Suggestions anyone.

The sound files in Oolite are in .ogg format. This is am open source bitstream format created by XIPH.ORG. Have a look at http://www.vorbis.com/setup_windows/ to see if your computer is set up for .ogg sound files, or if you need to update something.

Thanks for the suggestion but sadly the download was to no avail. It won't stop me playing but most annoying.
