i've been playing some Oolite and i just came across a strange little bug - ghost cargo (from a pirate i kaboomed)! it shows up on my scanner, it's perfectly visible, but i can't get an ident/missile lock on it, i can't scoop it, i can't shoot it (laser goes right through it), and i can fly right through it...very mysterious! oh, and while i'm here, on the first constrictor hunt message is the ship meant to be shown? because all i got was the message and a black background, oh well... here is an image of the cargo container occupying the same space as my ship...

Yeah, along with ghost ships this is something that crops up for people every now and again, e.g. reported in this thread as well.
