Changing crosshair

Hi just a small question, is it possible for me to make my own crosshair? I'm kind of fond of simple minimal crosshairs and i've just bought my first Oolite military laser and am disappointed by the intrusive crosshair. It's not really my taste. :p

What file can i edit to change it?

yeah, I second this request! I would like tighter cross hairs for all the models. And the mining laser cross hair.... not only is it huge, but it looks like a German Cross. That's not really a critique in itself, but really, it's freakin' huge.
