I want to play Oolite, but PC won't let me!

Post by reills »

I'm coming back from a situation where my computer refused to boot. Screen would blank on start-up and stay that way. Had to re-installed XP Pro. Got all updated and re-installed Oolite. Now, when I start the game the program crashes with a problem on the objc.dll file. ANY ideas?

Prolly a corrupt download...

Redownload. and back up your pilotsave files in ollite.app/savefiles

Then uninstall...

Goto where you installed oolite before and delete the entire directory tree.. still remembering that you know have saved your pilot files...

Reinstall oolite at the same location, put your pilot save files back into the proper directory

and relaunch the program...
