More invisible ghost ships

While playing the PC version today, a funny thing happened. My jump drive mass locked on me and a ship appeared on my radar, but I couldn't see it anywhere, even when I was practically on top of it. It proceeded to lock its weapons on me (whoop! whoop! and yellow blob turns to red) but never fired on me. Eventually I just fuel injected away until I could jump again.

Could be coincidence, but I recently started the Military Fiasco mission and have just downloaded the Falcon.

Some ships do have a cloaking device, most often Ferdies I think.
