How do I "force" the witch jump failure in order to get to the Thargoids floating in witch space ?

(Just want to taste Thargoid blood)

Right below where Murgh wrote "*spoiler" highlight below:" there is some text that's the same color as the background. If you highlight the text (hold down the mouse button as you select it), it becomes readable.
