Two posts in one day? I'm on a roll!
Anyway,
How good would I fare against a Rattle Cutter?
I've seen some in the hands of offenders, and I don't know whether to run, or get that sweet bounty.
The wiki makes it sound like it's the most powerful ship ever to me.
So should I attack?
or should I grind up to a star destroyer

Re: Rattle Cutter!
I’m no expert in this.
But.
It is an old OXP (one of Murgh’s, probably from the Aegidian era). If it is running on the original AI it could well be clobberable.
If the AI has been updated and it still has the improvements to compensate for the poorer older AI (eg multiple forwards lasers), it could well prove impossible without such goodies as a naval energy unit and hardhead missiles. Unless, of course, you are a reincarnation of Baron Manfred von R!
