Thank you for the kind comments!
I'd be interested to know, Commander Beatnik, what you used to produce those pics, and how, please.
All the images I posted here in on the BB were created using Microsoft
Image Creator. Image Creator uses Open AI's artificial intelligence DALL-E to create images from a text description. The software runs via browser and is currently free to use, but you do need a Microsoft account. Unfortunately, it seems that the test phase has just ended and you can only make a limited number of requests per day.
What Image Creator does with a text description is different every time you run it, even if you don't change the text. For example to get the deadly goat that I posted, some fine-tuning of the text was necessary and it took about 30 attempts to get a usable image that did meet my expectations.
I also thought about whether there might be a problem with copyright if you post an AI-generated image. But that is not the case according to both
Microsoft and
Open AI support. Open AI even allows commercial use of images created with DALL-E. However, one must not deceive anyone into thinking that an image was created using AI and pass it off as one's own work.
Finally, something to smile about. A few images of "deadly goats" that DALL-E produced and that did not make it into the final selection.
