Haven't seen this suggested yet...

A virtual built in log book (possible as OXP?).

It would list each hyperspace jump (to - from) and within these:

Cargo transported
Profit/loss made
Cargo scooped
Ships destroyed
Messages recieved

By the time you got to Elite you could have a novel!

I like that idea. I at least kind of always wanted a log of which planets I had visited.

Yes, i like it too. And to be able to add records by hand.
