Favourite ships...

Post by CWolf »

OK, just got myself a Cobra MK2-X today and I personally love it!

It has all the top kit, only slight change to normal is I have decided to stick with Beam lasers at the front instead of Military, I prefer to have a slightly longer fight as it means they cool down a lot quicker. I find it handier when facing multiple targets.

I'm currently messing around in a racing adder (#5), It has all the gasdgets that make life ...survivable. ;)
But my favorite is the Python-Bigrig, fitted out as an ironass.
Lots of room, so that I do not need to destroy all that beautifull bounty.
(I keep space tidy 8) )

The ship I prefer to stalk is the one I use as Avatar, the Gaundlet Armour.

I'm still a big fan of the Josher. It's not the fastest ship around and it has the looks only it's captain can love, but the thing's built like a tank.

I love the Josher as well. I bought it to replace my starting ship. Not the fastest, but can handle it's own in a fight and can haul a fair bit of cargo. Being able to carry 6 ECM Hardened missles doesn't hurt either.

I will eventually go for a Python class cruiser once I get enough money, it will be a long time till I get to that point.

I haven't been playing for a while, but I still fancy Cobra mk3 the best (Actually, I like to fly around in the Cobra Courier), but I've always also been a fan of the Wolf MkII - I just lack the cash to buy one of those to try it out... :(

Imperial Courier. I just bought it and kiks ass. Fast as hell and with hight roll/pitch ratio. If you have 600.000 Cr, it's the best investment you can do.

I flew Imp Coiriers and SuperCobra's but they feel too much like cheating... The stats are just too good to be really fitting into the Ooniverse... Selezen, it really is time to tweak the Imp Courier down, no?

Now I've got me a Wolf Mk II SE 8)

And am quite broke... Heehee, so lots of piratekilling ahead to get me decked out completely.

Oh, and I agree 200%: the Josher is a very nice ship on the upgrade path.

I think Imperial Courier should not be tuned down. The only constraint to work with should be price. Maybe it can be made more expensive? Like 1.000.000 Cr.

The original Imp Courier can be considered to be Imperial Navy Specification. The new one, under development by Seldar Shipyards, is the civilian specification one as released under GalCop ruling 875-42a and as held under the Treaty of Achenar.

Work is progressing.

You can always edit your copy of the plist and crank it back up again if you feel the munchkin urge washing over you :)
