Where's mine??!
Odd situation - I have 145166 credits to my name, and this is what the save file has, however when I load my commander, I have 14516.6 credits! Losing 130000 or so credits down the back of the sofa is unlikely - especially as I don't have a sofa in my cockpit...
Any ideas?!
Dave

Re: Money!
The number of credits in the savefile is divided by 10 to give the actual in-game credits. All is normal here.
Re: Money!
ok, that explains that - although doesn't explain where my money went, as I definitely had around 150000 credits only a couple of jumps previously, as I was contemplating buying an escort but the delivery time was too long (I'm on a delivery deadline at the moment). I can't think of anything that would cause me to lose that much!
Re: Money!
Methinks you might need a heaping helping from "The Joys of Spreadsheets". Either that or hire one of the accountants from Ceinerxe but they are an expensive piece of equipment. Seriously though, the job ain't done until the paperwork is finished.
One of the things that brought me joy with the original Elite, and now with Oolite, is keeping track of my earnings and losses. Do not go by me though as my tendency is more towards the obsessive and compulsive side of the Ooniverse. You will find me at the nearest Space Bar dutifully transferring my "Copious Notes" into a spreadsheet that details my profits and losses as me and my ship transect the spaceways.

FlightLog.oxz by Thargoid can help keep track of credit changes.
oolite.oxp.spara.market_observer.oxz can be even more detailed about how well you're trading.
