I'm new to these boards so please bear with me if I've posted this in the wrong place.
I have lately been having a problem with my ship's energy dropping to zero the moment I exit the station. This is happening with several ships I've bought even before I've modified them in any way. It seems Shield Boosters cause this every time I have a ship with them on it. Sometimes, removing them solves the problem, but sometimes I have to strip a ship down to nearly nothing to get around this. Once in a while, nothing I do seems to help.
Is this something I'm causing? I've got a LOT of expansion packs installed, could there be some kind of conflict that only happens to specific ships? I'm not a programmer or coder of any kind, so I'm pretty well lost.
Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Zero energy

Probably a good idea to post your
Latest.log
(~:\Oolite\oolite.app\Logs\Latest.log
) - that might give some clues.I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills

Re: Zero energy
Welcome Mortakapo!
It is pretty sure that one of your OXPs cause the problem, maybe Surjectors, Ship Configuration or another which change the energy usage.
Try to uninstall a few of them, check it and repeat to find the problematic one.

Thanks. I'll see if I can get it straightened out. I don't know anything about the logs, but if I can't fix it by shedding OXPs I'll try and figure out logs.

Re: Zero energy
Logs are fairly straightforward: find it, open it, copy its contents, paste into a forum post.

Re: Zero energy
After removing a few expansion packs I'm not having the problem anymore. I think it was the 'equipment by ship class' that was causing it. Now I just need to pare down the graphics using ones (or somehow otherwise high processor using ones) to get over my 'screen freeze' problem during combat. I have an annoying tendency to get killed because I can't see/move for a second or two at a time when fighting.
Thanks for the advice, commanders.

Yeah, I was afraid it might be that one...
There are some multipliers in there that seem to be causing all kinds of havoc in certain scenarios...
I'll swap them for specific additions/subtractions sometime this week.
Thanks for the report and sorry for the trouble.
