The Last Starfighter, the HD remaster and The Starcar!

Post by CWolf »

I love this movie.
The 25th Anniversary HD enhanced version looks even better than the first time I saw it!
I am practicing in Wings 3D, my plan is to make Centauri's Starcar.

Nice movie, I was impressed when I watched it in my childhood.
Once I found a model of starfighter but my Wings3D make a crash dump only when I try to import.
Missing a license but contain some nice pictures:

Not sure the Gunstar fits in with other Oolite/Elite ships.
The Starcar would make an epic shuttle/scout!

But I see a scale discussion starting...

Perhaps an ultra small shuttle, no weapons and minimal armour but almost impossible to hit because so small. Buuuut, scoopable giving alloys, machinery and slaves!

<chuckles> ha, yes that crossed my mind as well - I don't know about 'fitting in', but that would fit in, an Orbital Shuttle!

It would even fit in an escape pod... :)
