We're back - kinda!

Don't know what happened yesterday, but we seem to be back in business now!

I am glad to be able to access the boards again, I was quiet lost for a moment or two there.

I only was able to jump back here because of my extra fuel tank "cheat" though.

Are we? I'm finding the page times out during loading quite a lot, and we did lose about a day's worth of posts not very long ago. Has anyone looked into the software and server? Maybe we need a tune-up or something? I'd hate to see the forum go down again, and especially don't want posts to vanish. Moderators, what's our technical side looking like?

EDIT: For example, it's taken me three tries just to post this. There's definitely something still going on, here...

Yeah, it's been flaky all evening - and getting worse now, I fear. Gone again!

Yes, didn't look like a hardware fault. (I pinged the servers and they came back OK) It's amazing what you can do with a whois command. Had a chat with the online host (nice dude who went by the name of Greg) Who informed me that as I wasn't a customer they of course couldn't give out any details regarding a clients account.

Fine by me. All I wanted to do was prod the fire not get burned by it.

Didn't mean to intrude Mr Giles sir. :D

I try to be helpful with my smattering of linux knowledge. Yes.
But I am here to help! I could have gone further but it all gets a bit "hacky".

Hullo! BB has been unresponsive for two days for me. Since the last time I posted. I was going to start emailing folks to ask if it was just me or everyone... Glad it's back now.
