This is a named pot plant (i.e. a plant in a pot, not a cannabis plant!) that has appeared in 2 episodes so far, of the new television series "Thunderbirds Are Go (2015)" the latest being Season 01 Episode 12. Gladys appears as company for a miner who has to be rescued by International Rescue. This is the re-make of the classic 1960s television show created by Gerry & Sylvia Anderson.
When you choose "Start New Commander" and then are offered various choices, wouldn't it be cool to be offered a Gladys The Geranium Y/N? after you have chosen the "Miner Start" option?
I don't envision this feature/Add-on as affecting gameplay in any way at all, just providing some Ambience.

Being able to buy a 'Gladys' would be very easy to do, but making it do anything useful (specifically appearing on screen) is not so easy unfortunately.
