How to avoid being an offender

Post by heir »

Hognose crazies keep attacking me when I exit the station. I wait for them to hit me before returning fire. But I always seem to then turn into an offender when I pop them. So, how can I kill the suckers or should I just take the punishment?

Police vessels, when faced with a fight between two Clean ships, will pick a side based on various factors. With the Hognose being an OXP ship it's hard to say how that assessment will work out. Luring them out of the aegis before returning fire, or waiting until you can see a confirmed Offender status on them, is probably safest. You may also want to consider whether you yourself have a reputation as a dodgy character or a fine upstanding member of the community.

Draw their fire onto the station!
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

This is always a favourite of mine. Instantly gets the vipers attention, even if they were attacking you at the time.
Find out about the early influences of Fatleaf here. Also his OXP's!
